Ok, so obviously with a name like that, you probably would prefer to avoid listening to it.
But wouldn't you be happy to know that it's actually good?
Me too, opinion is everything.

Mixtape 1 20TEN
so.. I wanted to try(test) recording a set, after some messing around I finally got it.
though I learned the hard way not to get too loud. =/
Mainstream Mixtape #1 20TEN
http://www.mediafire.com/?uzqwewnwnln
ok so this is more of a test than an actual mix, but I figured I would go ahead and post it. nothing fancy.. at all just some basic traks and transitions.
Funky For Your - Nice & Smooth
Happy Up Here - Röyksopp
Whatever You Like (Cover) - Anya Marina
Whatever You Like (Remix)- Discotech
Just Dance - Lady Gaga
Stronger - Kanye West <about mid way through this song, I cranked up the bass which peaked, I re-edited it, so it still sounds distorted but won't blow your speakers)
I Got More Than A Feeling(Black Eyed Peas vs Boston) - Mad Mix Mustang
just keep in mind that the mix is already pretty loud.

Plastic Beach & Sky Captain
Gorillaz
So, the Gorillaz without making much sound, surprised everyone with the leak of their new single Stylo and the album cover for their new album PLASTIC BEACH.
Stylo
http://myspace.com/Gorillaz
There's a lot of guests on their new album including Mos Def, Lou Reed and Snoop Dogg.
I'm looking forward to this album, it seems like a guaranteed album.
Releasing March 8th.
I've been interested in the movie
Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow
for a while now, but never had an opportunity to see it, I finally just went to our local pre-owned movie/game shop, found it for $8.
I heard that it used too much green screen and that green screening ruined it.
I however, a major fan of The future that never was (don't know what that is? go further down, I'll explain.), was quite over excited after seeing the movie, it feels to keep true to The Future That Never Was, the vehicles, the lighting the... everything, WONDERFUL, if you get the chance to see it for free or under $10, I'd recommend seeing it.
if you like old movies, the 1920s or just a good adventure sci-fi flick, check it out
The Future That Never Was,
is a look back on the past as if we had advanced in all different places, like walking robots, jet packs, hover cars, flying aircrafts, scientific advances etc.. but remaining the looks of 1910-1940, overall it's a really interesting concept, obviously something that didn't happen, but thinking 'What if?' is always really fun. I love it
I got my start from Walt Disney's Tomorrowland and all his futuristic ideas and drawings.

Vol 0.4 Dead Disco, dead punk, dead rock'n'roll
Whilst perusing Little Boots on the internets, I found out she(Victoria Hesketh) was formerly the Synth/Vocals to a band called Dead Disco. Sadly this band is no longer together, but they had some pretty good stuff. So let's check'em out!
Automatic by Dead Disco
Dead Disco (MySpace link)
The band formed in August of 2005 after meeting at the University of Leeds, released 4 Singles, then later disbanded with a confirmation in December 2008.
Victoria Hesketh went on to form Little Boots, Lucy Catherwood and Marie France went on to form Video Villain. Both bands are phenomenal and I'll probably cover them later, but before a great band goes completely unknown, I just wanted to give them some light.
The Joy Formidable - (MySpace link)
The Joy Formidable are a three-piece band from North Wales, now living in London. The band were originally a four-piece known as Sidecar Kisses, and played In The City in 2006 under that name. In 2007, they dropped their bassist, and changed their drummer and their name. The Guardian cited them as "one to watch" in 2008, and the NME described their music as "Epic, melodic, hand-shandy pop from a band who understand the true joys of life".
They released their first full album A Balloon Called Moaning in February of 2009 and are currently touring with Passion Pit in New York then heading back to England.
